i cant realy comment to much on this kayak yet as Ive only used her for a few hours. first impressions though are "Wow what a great kayak" the fittings are all made by RTM and are great quality and well thought out. 13ft 7" in length the kayak tracks really well and you also get a rudder which i didnt use. the rod holder with pre-drilled holes is placed just right on the deck for trolling or bait fishing. then there is this great piece of kit called "front fishing water tight case with hatch" which can be used to store ice and your catch or as i used it for my food and brew kit. these great tackle boxes are supplied which are great for lures but it is a shame that they are so narrow that they will only hold stick baits as pictured this central tackle box is great for storing all your bits and pieces that you will be using for the days fishing the rear tank well is big enough to fit box's tents and all manner of kit for a weekends fishing and has two scupper holes and bungs which fit well to make the rear water tight. two six inch round hatches which are well placed, one just behind the seat and one up front. a handy measure imprinting on the deck which is a nice feature. all in all a great kayak which paddles well and is very stable and very well made. i have a weekend using this kayak coming up so will be able to give a better review of what i think. rtmkayaks.com/products/fishing/k-largocan be purchased from please call for more info

Really nice pictures Daz.
RTM have put a lot of thought into their designs. The case in the front is great and if you had to buy it separately would cost a few quid. Some will argue you cannot fit a C-Tug in there but there is ample space for that and a crate in the rear. Safe dry storage is always a bonus.
I like the idea that the front well is sealed, in as much as there is no access to the hull for water ingress.
When you see the extras that are standard..... rod holder £20-30 tackle boxes £10.50 +P&P on EBay plus the smaller boxes The central tackle box £30+ Couple of cleats. Front case £70 minmum Then you have the Luxe with anchor and Rudder again a minimum of £150 Scupper bungs
The lot costs £999 take off the extras and the bare hull is about £700 suddenly it is not a very expensive kayak at all.
I think it is time RTM's were looked at as serious contenders.

Nice first review Daz.
The centre box looks quite a way from the seat and nearer to your feet, does it give easy within reach access.
Let me know when you two are going over to Al's, we could perhaps meet up, I would like to take a closer look at the K-Largo as well, perhaps even get a paddle.

Yes Daz, that's the one, sometimes it is tricky to see just what the position actually is when looking at pictures. Well that is good to know mate.
