You should!!!
I did it blowing my nose of all things, felt it tear, I had one the other side when i was 16 so in theory I've got a three month wait to take it easy then three months after the op to go easy. I reckon the paddling and fishing will be ok, just the loading, unloading and perhaps up-anchoring. Still, that's life. Just been kayak surfing and now with the day lookimg dull I think i'll give wilmy a shout and see if he wants to hit the river ;D

Truss ....is it yellow cranky one . Are you gonna wear it on the outside of the drysuit . I am hopefull that after Tuesday I will have the op soon . I have taken it easy long enough . Seems femeral hernias are more likely to strangulate so they get sorted quicker . Knowing my luck I will stil have to wait untill after Christmas . But there is one thing for sure I will crawl down the river with my teeth if I have to and I don't do trusses not even yellow ones .

Definition of cranky ..irritable or odd ......going on a coarse fishing site and proclaiming that the coarse fishing you do is fun but dull is ...odd or ...cranky ..how can something really be fun if its dull ...me i am cranky cos right now i cannot do what i want this makes me irritable ..or cranky ...

How can something really be fun if it's dull? My wife enjoys knitting. That's hardly white-knuckle, is it... Re-read what I wrote mate: Freshwater kayak angling is just so dull though, there's nothing to talk about. No real seasonal variation, tide and wind speed/direction are rarely a consideration, you don't need as many gadgets...there's just nothing to talk about. Now, even though there's nothing to talk about I can still spin a yarn from a session...but to illustrate just how dull it is take a look at the the three coarse reports i've posted...5 replies in total. See? DULL ;D

Actually it was! The red leicester and tomato with sea salt and wynad pepper (that Cam gave me) was passable but the red pesto, mozzarella and herb salad one was as dull as sandwiches get. I really don't understand mozzarella - it has to be the most boring cheese in the world. Tasteless balls of soggy rubber.
I'd have been better off fishing.

You should have put some Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations in that would have made it a bit more exciting. ;D Or maybe not!

Stilton is a proper cheese.....either like it or loath it

I used to go to Melton Market on a Tuesday and buy the broken rounds then take them back to Leicester and sell them for a nice profit down the pub.
It's also superb as a Leek and Stilton bake.

I do like stilton and it goes so well with port. Now blue cheese, that's not dull ;D Blue cheese can be heaven - I like danish blue, dolcelatte and blue brie most of all though stilton and shropshire blue do have fridge space (until they're required). Sadly cheese and biscuits is a big downfall of my dietary regime as I just can't resist at the most absurd time of day.
Yesterday the rot set in with water biscuits, red leicester and a rathr tasty red pepper and chilli jam that i spotted in asda, a new release. I knew they'd go well together in a not-dull kind of way and eight or so portions later I knew I was not only correct but verified correct. And all the fatter for it.

Off to Southampton to get replacement rod insurance money arrived whilst there I will go to the cheese shop Fancy some Cambozola or some roquefort and some Stilton i like to buy other blue cheeses just to remind me that stilton is the best ,and will look for that jam . Rivers are still far to coloured for chub and there is a bitter northerly .

my wife is far too dull to be seen even quarter naked Cam. I'd get more aroused being married to a muslim. Hit the blue cheeses again at lunchtime after whiting, filleted, battered and with mushy peas, ketchup and hot chillis auce. That followed massive waves that had me walk 1/4 mile to launch after failing for 45 minutes to get more than 50 yards out. After being up all night. Work was dull, failure was a complete em,barrassment in front of a town's worth of board surfers.
