For those who have not seen this on AA, David Blair is organising an event on Loch Ken in October.........
========
So after much planning it is now time to let you all know about the one and only Scottish Kayak Predator Competition. It took a while to decide the best Loch to hold it on. Lomond is just too big and fish are sparce.
The chosen loch is Loch Ken, 7 miles long and fed by two rivers, lots of bays and weed beds. Plenty of features and islands it boast one of the best pike and perch fishing locations in Scotland. Fishing with 10-15 red kites hovering above you is a daily thing at Loch Ken!
Loch Ken is located near the Scotland and English border for ease of travelling to.
Loch Ken Caravan Park have kindly agreed to allow us to hold our competition on their grounds and launch (for free) from there. Campervans, tents are welcome with chalets and statics avaialable on site too.
