Until I got carried away with ultra light spinning, I have not been a perch searcher but with the fight these fellas bring to this type of fishing, I have become a devotee to the point that I have been testing a number of the micro lures to establish with seems to work the best. My past 5 sessions have shown the spinmad lures work extremely well and don't tend to carry too much weed unlike normal treble hooked lures. Today, a short session as we talked quite a lot, was a case in point as I met up with Altop at one of our regular haunts. Al is getting into this ultra light method and he was trying from the kayak whilst I walked around the lake. Two good perch and two small pike gave me great sport on this set up and the more I do, the more I want to do. These are the lures in 4grm size but they are available in 4, 6, 10, 18 & 35grm or with trebles fitted in 12 & 24grm. If you have not tried them yet, I can recommend them. lurefactors.co.uk/products/spinmad-turbo-4g-tail-spinnersThe numbers of the lures are as follows, left to right working down the lures. If you fancy some of these, this should help to get you the colour you want. 1201 1202 1203 1204 1205 1206 1207 1208 1209 1210 1211 1212 Phil

Yes I am really pleased with them Daz, in fact I have just ordered 10, 12 and 18grm to use on other rods. You are right about casting them, the 4grm just goes so god knows what the heavier ones will go like. Have you tried turning the hooks around at all Daz, just wondered.
I want to try them at Rudyard from the boat, a trip I want to do very soon.

Ordered some lures from Lure factors today. Very organized and quick my lures are in the post already. I received this email from them.
"Dear David Jacobs, I have dispatched your order but I am afraid I did not have a silver 7g left so I have sent two copper ones which are light in colour. and a 3 g silver I hope this meets with your approval regards Lure factors"
Good?
