Half a dozen of us under the leadership of Eggy had a weekend camping on the banks of Llyn Clywedog in Wales last weekend.

This was the annual Sailing and Kayaking Day for the disabled.

Below is a 'not so short' video that I posted on their FB page. It is long because I wanted to get as many faces on as possible. All our guests deserve that.

I think myself, Martin, Ed, Marc Chicky, Dom all got much more reward from this day than you could from a competition result.
The smiles and laughter, the joy and the gratitude was price less.

I know many have done this event but I would urge others to volunteer for next year.

YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! It's good to do something selfless every now and then.

At time times I felt guilty, I got so much out of it.
The kids are great and one of the adults has said: ' That was the best day of my life!'

We did so little but it meant so much to them. PLUS we had a couple of days camping in a beautiful location, we saw buzzards, red kite and osprey. We had fresh trout for supper and had a wonderful paddle.
