BREAKING NEWS!!
The Pitsford Grand Slam has been arranged in association with Anglian Water and will be held on Pitsford Reservoir on the 6th and 7th of August 2016.
This 2 day Lure only kayak fishing competition will be a part of the Lowrance Grand Slam Series. This prestigious series will be held over 3 different venues, both fresh and salt water with different challenges to stretch the skills of the anglers who are battling for the ultimate goal of being the Grand Slam Series Winner!
The goal at Pitsford will be to catch 3 species, Perch, Pike and Trout. What makes this venue amazing is that Pitsford holds huge specimens of all of these species with the potential of PB's being smashed during the competition!
The price of the competiton is £45 which will include free camping on the side of the lake.
More details of the competition as well as the rules will be released in due course.
This is a huge step within the sport of Freshwater Kayak fishing in the UK and I am really excited to see where this event will go, so watch this space!

Jonah Llangorse is not to be missed mate. It may be a case of first come first served though as it is growing so quickly. The club and the lake struggle with more than 50 or so.
One possibility next year is that there may be a celebrity ambassador from HOW in attendance?

No booking details released at the moment, although the first prize has been confirmed as an Old Town Predator 13 kayak. Thanks goes to Bainbridge Marine and Old Town Canoes & Kayaks for supporting the event with such an amazing prize.

This will be a great event. The trout guys at Pitsford moan about the Summer pike spoiling their sport.
Get on there lads.

Thanks for the link Terry.
Booked on and paid.
I'm not on Facebook, so I struggle a bit to keep in touch in that way, I depend on this forum and Anglers afloat for updates.
Thanks again
Jonah

Hi Folks,
Ive not been on here in a while! Apologies for missing your questions and Thank You Terry for keeping the interest in this event going!
The camping is Free from Thursday until Monday.
