A word of advice when un-hooking pike......... For years I have been using long forceps for un-hooking. In the last few weeks I have had three people tell me how they nearly broke their fingers when a pike thrashed and their forceps were locked onto a treble and their fingers were through the forceps. I have been thinking for a while about getting a set of the trigger type of disgorger so I finally took the plunge and bought these for a tenner from AGM. I got the stainless ones so they will be ok for saltwater too. I guess this is the kiss of death for my trip to Rutland though. No chance of using them there . Terry

They work well Terry and it doesn't need to be a big pike to cause damage. Apart from saving your fingers, these grips are much easier to remove hooks with.
