Stu, Our latest member may just be able to offer a little advice mate. Marty Mulcairn of Wye Valley Angling Custom Rods supplied me with a set of crank baits. I will post photos very soon, that are excellent quality. Mind you they may not suit your u/l passion.......11" 135 gms. Hang on I'll get a pic off Facebook.

Heres a quick picture of a couple of them with my iPhone 6plus to add scale. They are really well made and the action in the water is superb. You can use them as standard jerk baits, rip them back shallow or fish them deep and slow. On a slow day I had just one follow from a pike barely an inch longer than the lure. It veered off at the last minute. I reckon it was thinking ' Sod that I am brave but not THAT brave!' They are very popular with the lads at Chew and have caught some beasts there.
