Right guys, many of you will be awar that we had access to Frisby Lakes in Leicestershire. However there have been a couple of changes in management and I was unsure if the agreement would continue.
Today I went down to the complex and had a long chat with the current manager Chris Angell. What a nice guy he is. ☺
He has a long pedigree in fishing both as an angler and within the trade with Climax and Shimano.
The good news is that Chris is very keen to embrace kayak angling at Frisby Lakes. For those who are not aware the lakes contain pike to high 20’s, zander to high teens as well as specimen carp, tench and bream, plus perch, roach etc.
The fishery has previously focused mainly on carp and season ticket fishing but now is turning to predator fishing as well and is a day ticket fishery. Frisby can offer showers and cooking facilities along with camping.
Chris has also said he would be happy for us to host a competition there and it would perhaps make a great location for an Oxwich/Swanage species hunt type of event. What do you guys think?

Frisbee lakes competition winner should really rather than a cup ☕️ or a plate .....recieve a round disc which perhaps could be awarded from a twenty meter distance 😁
