What leads are people using? I have seen fancy ones but that looks like a money spinner - do the cinchers make a difference compared to a stAndard lead?

I have seen fancy ones but that looks like a money spinner - do the cinchers make a difference compared to a stAndard lead? they seem to be better if your fishing snaggy areas like around tree roots and such because all you loose is the lead. but some just use swan shot if there isnt to much flow. Do you have any idea what the benefits of the shapes are. I see balls, pear drop and stick is there really any benefit to them?

Terry i went for sticks as i think they will be less prone to snags.....and the fish cant see them because there camo ;D i spose the round ones could be better over silt as they wouldnt plug in ?
