well my deadbait order arrived today from Baits Direct........................................ I always get slightly worried by the size of the box and wonder if i accidently put the wrong quantity in. but alas no the plan is hatched!

Yeah, my plan is to fish a medium to large dead bait over a small scattering of free small bits. Also going to try using some of the more complete small offerings on a drop shot along with usual lures etc

Drift deads downstream just off bottom keith varying the line each trot down then alter the depth by about 6" and repeat

hope this water runs off by then , had a paddle on the ouse at Earith today, flooded a lot ,even over the road , paddle accross the flooded land for 1/2 mile then came back on the river ,fastest I,ve ever been on a yak ! the views accross the floods to the villages are realy special -and I forgot my camera the speed its all going through I don,t think their holding any back like they have for quiet a while now, worried about a drought if I remember correctly! time for it all to settle down and those little fish are going to be hungry

Hi Guys had a paddle down at pottersway today the river is very high and up into the carpark also moving fairly fast. Hopefully will settle by the 8th fingers crossed lol
