Never fished the venue before is it lures or bait fishing?

Take your pick. Good general coarse fishery. Pike to over 20. I think the biggest come to bait but lures account for a lot. The perch are supposed to go to 4lbs+

I am hoping for a fish or two. Daz has fished it not sure what he has had.
I have paddled with Step there a couple of times it is a great set up. The ranger is a nice guy who will always have current info.
I just want to get out after work and too much food.....back in again on Saturday right through the New Year and then it is J & H's fish hunt.

Sooooooooo desperate to get out on fresh or salt water. The tides are in the dark so that is out. Committed to clay shooting on Friday, more visitors over the new year, my window is getting smaller and smaller unlike my belly Going to try to have a few hours from the sea wall at the end of our village as I have bought 40 big fresh black lug that need drowning. It will also give me a chance to try my new Penn Affinity F/S reel. I normally use multiplier reels but I just fancied this for a change. Have a good session fellas Phil

I think Daz had two and Lureman had 3 Dorado and me had zero.....but weather was great, BBC got it totally wrong. It was nice to see mates again and Ray the ranger was very hospitable.
We will be back!!
More details to follow.

I think Simon needed to get out and get some fresh air. Like they say a change is as good as a rest.
After all the hustle and bustle of Christmas I think most of us need a break.
