It seems to have gone very quiet. I was going to have a trip onto the Soar but my favoured launch is down a long country lane and I guess in this weather that would be a bit risky. So I may just nip back to the Trent again and see if I can get a pike out. I really wanted to have a try for a few silvers to get my count up in the AA Species hunt but looks as if that is a no no in this weather. Terry

I would give it a miss Terry snowing in Lincoln at the moment main roads poor can't see Newark being any better.

I have just heard from one of our drivers who is in Newark right now. The roads are ok but he has been advised not to go to Lincoln as things there are quite bad.
I am working from home today, 130 miles to the office and back is no fun in this weather. I could get through but what is the point when I can work from here.
