Going to fish a free stretch of the tone this Sunday which has produced some good catches of big roach in the past. The section averages 8 feet deep and stick float with caster or maggott works well. There are also pike, bream, perch, dace and chub if anyone fancies it.

The tone is a cracking river terry and mostly free fishing but like a lot of places has been in flood for bloody ages. Looking at this weeks fairly dry forecast it will be perfect come Sunday. Will be going after the double figure bream when the weather warms up which could be worth having a little meet if some lads fancy it. I know its not always easy with the travelling and family commitments.

As anglers get to know about this site knowledge is being share and I think a lot of quality coarse fishing will be found. We are so far behind the saltwater anglers but as our numbers increase and more areas of the country are represented I think coarse kayak angling will flourish.
As groups start to form regionally I think we will see guys prepared to travel further, as they do for sea angling. They will be able to draw on local knowledge that as yet has not had a forum to be shared.
