ive been asked by Allan of AGM what i think of these www.tals-fishing.com/KayakFishing.cfmi think the whole system looks pretty neat, the first thing that i did think about was if you get tipped out would the vest type one make re-entry hard but with a little thought i dont think it would be a problem. your thoughts please ps there is now i lionk to this forum on the AGM site

Looks like a reasonable idea, the only downside that I can see is that because of the size of the tube you can't get many lures in it, looking at the chest pack picture it seems one lure per tube 8/9 lures in the pack total might have to think about the number of lures you took out. The velcro idea is good might even be an idea to use on tackle boxes.

Chapmans Angling in Scunthorpe. I am going in to get another today or tomorrow. They are owned by Glasgow Angling Centre so they might be on the web site.

Wouldn't wear the tubes personaly, but a few fitted to the yak would suit some anglers when your using a selection of lures, its easy to take to many!

I hope AGM have not invested in too much stock. They look good at first but as you begin to think how you would use them they seem more suitable fitted to a boat or in the case of the chest pack for a wading or bank angler. I have a similar set up. With kayak fishing there is water everywhere and even the ones unused may get water in through the drainage hole. Stuck along the side of the cockpit I see them being a nuisance. The set up in the pictures with the pillar and rod holder in the crutch area would be a nightmare for re-entry. Likewise the chest pack would hinder re-entry. I don't want to sound too critical at least someone is thinking about us. I think a couple of secent lure boxes are far more practical. I hope AGM will not be upset about the apparent lack of support it is great that they are looking at products for they lure fishing kayak angler and hopefully by seeking opinions here they will get a true feel for the viability of a product before they commit themselves. Thanks Phil I will have to have a trip up from lincoln haven't been in for a few months in fact if I remember they where giving the place a face lift the last time I was in there I have been in to Chapmans today and bought another lure box and they do have about 10 in stock at £4.99 each which is really good value for money. They have 14 full compartments and 2 half compartments which are handy for some jelly worms or savage eels. You can get a Yozuri or Rapala lure in at 6.5'' per compartment. Phil
