I am taking the sea eagle on Sunday to try it out Stu if that is of any use to you. I am tied up during the week so I'm afraid it is the weekend for me.
PM sent with my phone number. Phil

NoI'm not going early Stu and it depends what the weather is doing because we are supposed to get heavy snowfall later today/tonight. The best bet is to talk or pm sat night or even sun morning. It is so difficult to work out what is best at the moment.

Every time even the smallest of meets are talked of the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Come on then lads cough!! Who killed a unicorn and upset the weather fairies?

I have 18cm in my garden but the roads are clear and driveable...at the moment I am sat in ponds forge while my.daughter and 3 friends go swimming. Sheffield city centre is deserted yet all the buses and trams are running...and its still snowing..
I will keep an eye on the forum cos I fancy a paddle and a look at Phils new floating office.

I am really wanting to go and complete the testing and get some photos on the water so if possible I will go but not early. I will only take a lure and fly rod to assess what the boat is like when stood up casting. I don't think I am going to be there for too long with these temperatures. I will talk to you in the morning Alan.

I have had a phone call from my son in law who has gone to work near Ashby lake and it is frozen and to be honest having just been out to feed the birds, my hands are frozen as well. Temperature outside the cottage is -2 and gale force wind.
No boat test today. Looks like I will have to wait until next weekend.

I really would have liked to go to this event but I confess it is a case of ' rather you, than me ' on this occasion.
