It's a very neat set up. He has not cut back on quality not sure if he has gone over the top though, I bet the whole set up was not cheap.

If you have not bought the fittings yet, try ebay as I buy most of mine from there and UK Yatch Fittings in Grimsby.
The system is very similar to mine but I use fairleads on my Big Game as we have a flat ledge that runs all around the kayak so I have room to mount such items. This guy has done a super job and I don't think for one minute that it is over the top just good design. Let me know if you need a hand Kell.

Thanks phil most of the gear should be hear Monday. I am doing the twisted shackles this weekend but I am waiting for some m5 well nuts to land as some bump ty cross threaded some of the bolts when they fitted what can only be described as door knobs.
There is one thing I need and it is nothing to do with anchor a foot off the bottom of a kitchen cabinet as phil h had an idea for the lowrance tranceducer which I have fitted through the scupper hole and fitted it with an elastic band but with an adjustable foot I could possibly make a neat holder for it ?

That trolley looks really neat. It would be better to have it running right to the stern of the yak. As it is if you anchor in any sort of strong current / tide the boat will be very unstable because the water will catch the side of the boat and push it sideways. I believe you can buy a plate that fixes to the stern of a trident that has a hole drilled for a pulley bungee. Others have made them from a plastic chopping board. If you intend to anchor from the front then the front pulley also needs to be further forward. Combining those shackles with properly positioned pulleys would be really cool. I have found that well nuts work a treat. However, I drill a slightly smaller hole than is needed then open it carefully with a round file till I can squeeze in a well licked / wet ' rubber nut' then don't over tighten.

To be honest, I don't use the normal pulleys and prefer to use Harken blocks with nut and bolt. www.h2okayaks.com/engine/shop/product/h350/29mm+Harken+Carbo+Cheek+BlockI really am not keen on well nuts as I find them to be a poor fit because the flange sits proud of the hull causing a little movement when fully tight. If I am not able to use nuts and bolts, then Tri fold rivets to get a good grip. I think most people go this route now but if you like well nuts and they work for you---great stuff. Phil

My trolley is running from the very front to the pulley which is fitted on a rudder bracket like you said. Managed to get one of the nuts out then retaped it heated it up and with a bit of extra plastic melted it back in good as new .The secound one will have to be either the internals melted in from a well nut or if that dose not work a well nut itself. Even with the stainless twist shackles fitted it is starting to look a bit tarty lol Realise i do not need grab cords because the line that runs through the shackle can be used as grab line ? i think

Well what do you think, Just need to sort a ring out instead of caribina.

No No No Don't get rid of the carabina, add a ring for quick release on the trolley.
The ring on it's own is not a safe way to go, how do you release the anchor warp if you need to quickly. Yes you could cut the rope in an emergency but there are times when you simply need to release the warp without fuss.
The other thing which is important to me is that if using a ring, you have to have the anchor, warp and reel always in the cockpit in the way and possibly wrapped around your legs because it is pre threaded through the ring.
Have a carabina and just slip the warp through the clip and you are away.
