Trying to cool down earlier I was trying to find some info photos on mounting a star rod holder on my dorado, I was looking for the railblazer kit. wondering wher others fit theres to not be in the way to much etc. Anyway, one thing I came across was a Bison bite alarm holder, anyone have one, seen one, used one,? I thought one might be just the thing for deadbait legering for zander or pike, I could read a book or have a snooze lol, a flying anchor at the front ,normal at rear or tie up ,and then bait down!, just looked something to try,any thoughts?

Starvin Marvin on the Anglers Afloat site has one and asked him what they were like. He said they are really well made but the kayak needs to be still or the alarm goes off all the time. Anchor front and back is a must. I am also thinking of getting one.
Railblazer, speak to Al at the Kayak Fishing Shack, he sells them and uses a Darado so could give good advice.

I figured anchor both ends but with a bit more slack than on the bank, I 'll have to see if I can see one in the flesh. Cheers on shack tip!
