Hi I've been looking for a kayak trolley for a while, and was inspired by the many diy accounts of making one using PVC pipe. I tried many prototypes, but the only one that could manage my torture tests without failing was one that used the Kaafu's moulded rear handle. I tried making it from the usual offerings of the big DIY stores, but in the end chose some 32mm pipe and accessories from Hydrospares on the internet. The quality and delivery is amazing. I added some camping mat and Webtax camo tape to relieve stress on the plastic handles, and its working well. The pipes are held together using Wickes solvent cement. The handles are a really versatile part of the Kaafu. I've rigged my anchor trolley through them, and it works well too.
