I thought I'd catch up with some forum posts while its raining. Here are some pictures of the adjustable footpegs that I've added to my Kaafu. After spending some time paddling up and down the Thames my feet were aching from trying to press on the moulded foot rests. I "borrowed" the foot peg rails from my son's perception dancer and attached them to the kaafu using some aluminium angle from Homebase using some stainless steel M6 bolts from screwfix. It was then finished using some dark green hammerite. The foot rails are the same as those readily available from most kayak shops. After about 20 miles of paddling to test out I find it much more comfortable, and easier to transfer power to the kayak through body rotation, so I get about another 0.5 knots out of the little beast!
