I saw this kayak today fresh from the packing ..................stunning !. We stood it next to a Cuda 12 and the Cuda looks like a surf board. Should be collecting mine on Sunday.

I think for the right people in the right circumstances these are going to be fantastic kayaks. The stability is brilliant.
It is all about horses for courses.

It does look very wide and stable, lots of kit and Phil was right about the seat being nice and comfortable. The only downside I saw today is that it is quite heavy for one man.

I have been chucking a Big Game on top of my 4x4 with very little effort it is about method that counts. I confess that I bought a trailer last year which I carried the kayaks on if I was not going far as it is much quicker and easier, it is quite likely that I will carry the Big Rig on the trailer quite often but in truth that is more to do with the fixed roof bar spacing at 600mm. Had I got roof rails and was able to position the roof bars in any position as on most estate cars, I would not bother with the trailer.
The Big Rig should be with me very soon-----------I hope. Anybody want a Big Game as I need to make some garage space.
Which kayak did you settle on Gary, Cuda or Big Rig

I went for the Big Rig in green hornet colour in the end. As I put in one of my first posts, I liked the Lure 11.5 because of the stability, seat and load carrying. The rig has all those features but is longer and comes with more kit as standard. Just need the weather to clear up now!.

Weather? We are all waiting for that.
I suppose the consolation is that at least it is only our fishing that is ruined and not our homes.

Sorry Terry by the time I fought the M25 and got home it was dark. She's nicely tucked up in a tarp for tonight, I will post a few tomorrow after work. Hopefully I may launch it at the weekend if the postie brings my kit.

Nice one Gary, I am so looking forward to getting mine next week. I have already worked out a few of the mods that will work on this kayak that have not really worked on others because of the layout.

If you haven't already seen it look at the Jackson site, they have updated the walkthrough video with more info on the features. I like the lumber support and the rear anchor rig is a good idea.
