I have a Dorado, old and battered like me but I do love it. Very stable and a joy to paddle, fishing side saddle is nice when its warm ! this kayak is great for big waters but for smaller rivers ,canals its to much in my opinion. But if you go on reservoirs, big lakes and the sea it just the job, light a good fish box, an easy paddle. Downside ,you can't put a c tug in the hatches (yet) ,you have a wet seat a lot of the time, fairly snug ( makes handling better)
The Marlin is a lovely boat , and I think even better for freshwater, feels wider when you sit in it, options on its fit if you contact Simon as with the Dorado . Downside ,I don,t have one yet, not quite as seaworthy feeling as a dorado ,not as snug, but that should matter little to anyone , great light boat, hard to get a second hand one because they are so nice !
Kaskazi aren't cheap, but they are a joy to use.

Quality always costs but they are kayaks that many aspire to. Terry
