Hi All, ...great to have stumbled across this site!
...me and the good lady, fly and lure fish. Mostly a combination of Saltwater Fly / Lure, and Wild Stream Fly for Brown's. I got hold of a couple of Wilderness Commander Hybrid Kayaks last year, to try our hands at Kayak Fly and Lure fishing for Coarse fish. Targeting Pike / Perch mostly. Fishing locally on the Thames, but with the idea of stretching out into the bigger predator lakes for Pike.
Looking forward to picking up as many tips on Kayak fishing as we can, and maybe making our way to a 'fish-in' to meet up with like minded kayak fisher people!

Welcome.
There are some knowledgable folk on here so you're in the right place.
Feel free to ask away and I'm sure one of the knowledgable ones will be along to answer! ;-)

Welcome to the site.
I have to say the majority of guys here dabble in the toothy species here. A kayak lends itself perfectly to pike and perch lure and fly fishing. Indeed a few us were over at Llangorse in The Brecons this weekend doing just that.

Thanks Axor... it's finding the relative Day Ticket for the location that's difficult. As it's not like booking a beat, or a swim as you are a lot more mobile. And there seems to be difficulty with getting access to some lakes in your own kayak? I'd thought at one point about getting a float tube but that seems even more difficult!

Welcome to the both of you ,its a great wat to enjoy your fishing, launching and getting club permission is the hardest bit, but do look out for free areas.
