Elie Gulf 120Xe. At 12ft and 60lb its perfect, it has a fixed seat that has more positions than you can poke a stick at and talk about storage, 2 large cam lock hatches and a rear screw hatch with a dry bag. Although not an angler version all of the holes and such are marked out in readiness, it also has all of the rudder fittings and should you wish this can be retro fitted or you can make your own. It is very stable and it great to use on river and lake, some of you might know the shape as Im sure it came out of the Tarpon 120 mold :-)

Is it root moulded of two 'form' pieces welded together Michael?
I like cam lock hatches so easy to use. Are they going to let you 'pimp' it for fishing?
Is there a price available?

Love the two tone. I used to have the tarpon 120, don't know why I sold it really but nevertheless I did. I had no issues with the hatches letting in water although quite a few did, is this kayak prone to that problem. Nice layout, nice kayak. Is the seat as comfortable as it looks.

I have had this 2 years,I could pimp it but only use it for fly fishing and out of season paddles so not really had the need. The price when they first came into the UK was £749 which put a load of people off. I dont know what mould it is but it does look like 2 halfs put together, it is made of Poly XR which is lighter and seem more robust than my T13 or P13, I think this might be a double edge sword thou, If I hit something in the T13 I know it has some give in the plastic were as I feel like I could put a hole in this because of so little give (Im sure thats not the case it just feels that way).

I think one of the NZ companies uses the 'thermoformed hulls as does Bic.
My very first kayak was a Bic tobago and it took a bit of stick and handled it well. It even slipped off the roof rack once with only scratches.
