Right lads I have noticed that there does not seem to be a general list of kayak caught biggest fish. I know that on a little site like this we are never going to get every catch reported but I though it might be interesting to be able to see what is the biggest we have had reported to US.
This will hopefully build into a useful reference for us.
Please do not reveal the location. A picture along with the weight and or length would be good along with method, lure, fly or bait used. The brand of lure would be useful as I can perhaps use that as leverage for manufacturer support.
I will break it down by species but it will not include the mini species.
Please keep all chat here so that the sections do not get weighed down with chat. If you want to know more then ask here.
I am in the process of trying to get a sponsor for this section and at the end of the year we will select the best contributions so that the members decide on the fish of the year.

Just as a matter of interest, what is the largest Kayak caught Pike in the UK?

The largest I can recall off hand is a 23 pounder that Simon Everett had on Esthwaite some years ago. My PB from a kayak was from the Trent weighing 18-12.

The Pike Anglers Magazine Pikelines has an up coming "exclusive" on a very large Kayak caught Pike in it's next edition.

Interesting.
I know Martin C has had a few high teens on the Broads lately.
Not heard about any 20+ ones though.
