It depends on the waterway Most of the Anglian Water rivers come under the EA, sections of the Trent come under the Canals and Rivers Trust as do the canals other rivers can have totally separate permits, Avon at Stratfors is The Upper Avon Navigation Trust for instance. That's why the BCU permit is so useful it encompasses almost all of the England and Wales Navigable waters.

Got the rod holders drilled out and sealed this morning, looking at putting a trolley anchor on next, hoping to use some sort of shakel on the front Carrie handle and FSE the skegg hole at the rear.
Any idea of what size pullies and diameter rope do I need, I know you can get anchor kits but looks cheaper to buy the hardwear separately.

3mm Paracord will do the jb for trolley and anchor rope.
