Hello to you all. Just found this site from AA, so i thought i would join up. Like some of you, i got my kayak for sea fishing mainly targeting bass, but now as the weather is turning I thought i would start looking for more sheltered spots inland. Ive always fished for predators mainly targeting Pike and Catfish from the bank, but now i will be looking towards Pike and Zander from the Kayak. I live in north Essex (Frinton-on-Sea) so i'm thinking of spending some of my days off either on the Norfolk Broads or the Fens at Ely. Any way here's hoping some of you can point me in the right direction and i can hopefully do the same for you. First challenge is to catch a Zander as ive never caught one despite a good few sessions on the fens at Ely, I always seem to catch Pike. I'm rambling now so will leave it at that for the time being. ATB. Neil.

Hi neilnbeanie, your motivation for getting a fishing yak mirror mine. I like to fish in the sea, but this winter I will probably stick mainly to fresh water.
