Happy new year to everybody.Fancied a paddle so tried the sea but far to windy could only manage about 50 yards against wind and tide on a 3m boat so a quick trip to the angling shop and bought some maggots.Thought id try a sretch off water i know has good results in flooded conditions tride a couple of swims and was happy to catch 3 chub .Got home abit cold but worth it.

Well done mate. Looks like it is going to be yet another challenging Winter for the coarse angler. Terry

Dont know about you guys but if its daylight im not at work and the weathers something like i have to be out doing something. The nights are long enough as it is theres only so much eastholydalestreet i can stand. Not long now for lighter nights but then its 16march so freshwater fishing time needs to be had.

Not getting much fishing in at the moment as the rivers are just not fishable however I have managed to find a way of passing a few hours in the evenings, fitted a night viewing system on my air rifle so a bit of practice in pitch black passes the time very well.
