It's a 198 acre (0.8km²) reservoir controlled by South East Water. Carp, tench, pike, roach, rudd, eel, gudgeon, perch and bream present. Angling from the bank, boat or kayak allowed, you can even rent a sit on top kayak for a paddle about if you're going with someone who doesn't own a kayak. Prices for launching - £7, day ticket for lure fishing £11, open 8:30-16:30. Concrete slip way available for launching, but the car park is further away. We were allowed to unload/load the kit at the slipway and park up so it's not a big issue. The car park is pay and display, but when we went there the ticket machine was out of order so we got to park for free, not sure what the price is normally On the day we were there 22lb pike was caught on a dead bait from shore, a week ago 24lb pike reported, 3lb perch caught as well. Nice little water for someone local. Will be going back for sure. Website: www.ardinglyactivitycentre.co.uk/.

I've been told we've got to be out of the water by 16:30, I didn't really ask if it was all year round. If you're there when they open the gate it's just about enough for a day, considering you've still got to sort all the gear out before you can take off. ..
