Hi
I hope you're all getting a bit of this sunshine.
I currently own an AB Leisure Ocean Marauder kayak which I bought on a sea fishing kayak forum last year. Sadly due to a loss of job and change of employment I no longer have the funds to venture out to sea so I'll be listing it shortly with a view to getting a smaller craft for the river's and canals near to me.
Look forward to seeing what everybody else gets up to and once I've swapped mine I can get out on mine as well.
Regards
Rich

Hi Rich. Sorry about your job mate, been in the same situation myself recently. Welcome to the forum. Yes you can get away with smaller yaks for what the Yanks call flatwater fishing. Where are you based? As you will see more and more freshwaters are opening up to us, it's slow but progress is being made. Terry

Cheers Terry.
I'm situated in the northern part of Staffordshire. We have a few big reservoirs nearby that allow yakkers on but I quite like finding out of the way spots on rivers and canals.
I have noticed a lot more waters are opening their doors to kayak fishing; the future is bright, as they say!

Rich, If you know of waters that allow kayak fishing feel free to add them in the venues section with full details of rules and prices. This forum is the only place where we are actively trying to open up waters and to let the lads know where they can fish. Terry
