So this coming Saturday im free for some fishing. Been looking on Google maps and found a really fishy looking spot I want to try I have been thinking Ardingly or Weirwood reservoir too. Anybody want to tag along to one or the other?

That does look a good area Andy. I just wish I was further south and could get to Weir Wood more often. Just a reminder though mate weekends are a No No at Weir Wood through the Summer. Terry

I might be able to join you, haven't been out for too long. Which part of Thames are you thinking of fishing? There's a smoothound meet on Sunday I was going to go to, but the date hasn't been confirmed yet, and if the weather is rough I might rather go fresh water...

Terry I did think that a few hours after I posted that. Quite want to try the bit I spotted on google maps on Thames, it's only a bit further upstream of where I normally go. Looks like a nice jungly bit above the marina with a couple small little inlets. Its in Chertsey Romas. Type in Dockett Eddy Lane on Google maps. That's where I normally launch from, got a great aunt who lives there so just park on her drive. There's a car park upstream near this new bit I want to try which looks promising.
