Right lads a venue that was suggested for access talks was Llandegfedd Reservoir. I have had some communication with them and they have been good. The major target for us lads, I believe, is the predator fishing. Sadly this is never going to happen from a kayak. . There are very valid reasons why not. Mainly the low stock levels of fish there. They have had a 6 year pause in pike fishing to allow stocks to recover and have only just restarted. They are keeping fishing very limited to a few weekends and only 10 boats at a time. They want to minimise the pressure on pike stocks and should be applauded for this. They are happy however to discuss some access to their excellent fishery for kayaks on a fly fishing for trout basis. No plans have yet been discussed, I need to know if there would be a demand from you guys before I take things any further. I am happy to take this further but only if there is enough demand to make it viable. Let me know your thoughts, either here or via pm. Cheers Terry
