Tench pull harder Daz .right come on you lot bung some pics up if i end up with the only pics on here i may just as well remove them .the idea is we keep adding to it .Matters not a jot how big the fish is and if you catch it from a yak it counts double ....

i tend to lift the smaller ones out by gently gripping them over the back just behined the gill cover.

I've only had two Barbel my biggest and first one ever caught was 10lb 14oz Not fished the stretch of river in years and not accessable to a kayak but there are stretches further downstream that are and I may be exploring on my yak this year hopefully.

Apparently they have a 'bye-law' in their constitution banning fishing from all boats. ( tell Matt Hayes!! )
The only way that can change is by a submission to the committee.
Submissions can only be made by members.
The implication was that the submission would not be well received.
So I was told to buy a ticket for £35 to waters I cannot fish and make a doomed submission.
All to fish a venue at least 70 miles away a couple of days away.
If I was a member and local I would try but it's a bit too work much for me from Leicester.
