Lee from Peterborough T13 do most of my paddling on the Nene, but have had a couple of goes in the sea ( not very successful on the fish front lol ) Fairly new to kayaking and havent been able to get out that much this year due to work on the house and a shoulder operation that put me out of action for awhile On the mend now and looking to get back out there again

Hi Lee, You found your way here then There a good bunch on here very helpful and informative. Most of us have the same problem being so far from the sea its only natural to hit the drains and rivers. We had our first meet last month which was a great day not to many fish caught but a success Be good to meet up again and hopefully catch a few this time ;D. Welcome Lee,
Why don't you come down to the Nene Sat 8th Dec meet up with a few of us. It will be a laugh and face to face gets you far mor knowledge than ever just the written word will.
Terry

Hi Stu Yeah only came across this site by chance the other night whilst just browsing around, looks good. Definately up for meeting up again now my shoulders on the mend. Thanks for the welcome Terry, I should be ok to come to the meet in December. I'm only about 5 mins drive away from Pottersway, I mainly launch from there to go for a paddle, haven't done any fishing there for a while so any tips on what to use would be much appreciated.

Hi Lee, I`ll be taking a selection of deadbaits and rubber lures if you have not already seen them there are several articles on dropshotting in plastics ,dropshot, jigging etc which several of us are know looking at so that will probably be the main approach for some on the 8th.I always take to many deads so dont worry to much about them. Stu.

At least you don't have to freeze plastics. They are always fresh.
