My budget was more limited Every so often Lidl and Aldi do neoprene boots for about a tenner. I buy a pair of 9's for normal use and 11's for over the dry suit socks. ;D

I,m working at CEFAS lowestoft all next week , I sit on the roof looking out at the sea and could cry ! if I could finish early I'd get a yak on the roof but theres no chance, and I have to get up at 5.00 every day to get there home at 19.30 (crap). But it does mean I can pop in to norfolk canoes if they have some in ( it would be even better if they had a coffe machine ) steves a nice bloke , I 'll ask what he can do, ta stu.

Sorry - late joining the conversation. Palm Kola's have been banded about the place at cheap prices because Palm have indeed redesigned them. There were a lot of the small sizes in the old style left that they offloaded. The New Kola's are much tougher than the old with a far more solid sole. Have a look at the bottom of this page: www.norfolk-canoes.co.uk/footwear.htmAlso, Palm in their infinite wisdom have stopped the Kola's in a maximum of size 11, but there's plenty of room in them still. What size are you after? I should have them here...
