Thank god its over .dietary efforts start tommorow so the fridge has been defatted .. amongst this was a pound of mature cheddar and half a pound of stilton and half apound of st agur ... not ideal for a diet but perfect for making somecheese paste . Run round the supermarket and bought 500 grams of ready rolled short crust pastry .times 2 put blue cheese into mixer and blend spread over pastry sheets grate chedder over the top .. fold it all up and give it a good working and hey prestoi know this is the best cheese pastemoney can buy it will be just the ticket for coloured water. the way to fish cheesepaste is as.. find a slack put on a thumbnail size bit of paste and cast in ...wait ten minutes strike .. when you have wound in there will be nothing on the hook put on another bit and repeat .. if you just wound in the paste would still be there .. sitting at right angles to the swim a bite could be a small twitch or an almighty clonk .. move the rod towards any indication ..this removes any pressure the chub may feel . if you dont get a bite in three attempts move swim .. no need what so ever to add any flavours to this bait .
