Hi there, My name is Joel Knox and i'm currently in my final year at the University of Nottingham studying 'product design and manufacture'. For my Masters project i'm redesigning the angling kayak with potential focus on improving stability or compact-ability of the product. As a keen fisherman i'm excited about the project, however it would be great to get some expert opinions on my brief, to help ensure the concept is appropriate for UK users. Im initially looking to identify any fundamental flaws in the conventional kayak design when being used for fishing. Which design features create challanges or constraints while fishing? I would very much appreciate if you could answer my brief 9 question survey on the topic, any suggestion is a valued one. Follow the link to complete the survey. www.surveymonkey.com/s/CVJZNH6Thanks for your time. Joel Knox

Thank you very much guys for those who completed the survey. Gave me some really good pointers and design suggestions. If any of you are interested in continued input into the development please email epydjk@nottingham.ac.uk so i can send some concepts in the coming weeks for your feedback. Thankyou very much. I have just had a quick look at your designs. One or two of them look very interesting and I will spend a little time and give you a more involved response but from what I have seen---very interesting.
