Many companies make aftermarket parts Some only make after market parts A few months ago while struggling to get a customer what they wanted Kayak Fishing Shacks stonefish had an idea Most ideas are very pants that stonefish has so this was a better than usual idea The idea was simply to ring a friend in the fiber glass sector ! The idea of boxes is by far a well borrowed idea, but boxes were hard and sometimes impossible to get for the kayaks The man came and cast many moulds of popular kayaks and took them away to make special moulds After a little time tinkering the call came that the sample was on its way Fatyak Kaafu Box 1 The plan was a well made light box that the user could customize to suit there need The moulding and finish was great The user can put handles , straps , hinges , pumps , drain holes etc ,,,anything they want The way this one has come out there is ample room for loads of stuff even a one eyed terrier The prototype was well liked by my self and was snapped up by the new owner very quickly and more are now in production There are a few more different types that are being made for some other kayaks i think that in a big wind the box may catch more wind but in light conditions it would be fine the box is around 2 kg so it dos not add to much weight it can be made sectional so a battery / pump and live well could be made etc hope you like it

They are great but I think your markey may be with the dearer yaks. Many of the people who pay sub £300 for a kayak may flinch at £120, But many with the dear yaks will love it.

you forget the rule of pimp bling the cheap ,,,,not cheapon the bling remember the mini remeber the lambretaa
there are now more fat yaks selling and peeps will bling
the fatyak was the test pice it was cheap yak with a complex mould the guy knows his glass so it was supereb we have the ok ulra ones being made now and the p 13 too
the scupper an big game next then the tridents every mould takes a good time to make perfect so its a long process but im sure demand will see if the product is worth a go

Look very nice Al, so long as the profile isn't to much they will be in demand. Once you have the moulds the unit cost will divide down and bring your mark up where it should be, your right on bling the cheap by the way. You know ,underwater lights are hard to find lol
