Nothing short of inspiring. If six numbers were to come up, I would be booking a trip to Alaska but the boats would need a toilet because if I caught a pike that big on the fly-----------------I would need one. Great find Terry, just made a 10'' fly in the hope. Phil

Makes you jealous. Somehow Rudyard looks a bit uninspiring. Terry

Phil Very generous of you Phil , While I'm waiting and fired up by all the brilliant Pike flyfishing footage that Terry posted , a dinner time session was in order - a quick hour , from the bank - no time for the yak First cast and ---- bang ! A double on the fly to start my 2014 account in great style She fought really well , I'm made up with her ! My mate had to drag me back to work !

You lucky man Phil and what a lovely start to the year. The winds have dropped back over here so the time is coming for a pike fly session and test some new flies.

I know I am quite a lucky man, but if I was really lucky I would have 3 hour dinner times !
Phil , Terry , the pike are in the sheltered shallow bays now, especially where there are inlets and outlets , I think things are a couple of weeks ahead of schedule at the moment because of the mild weather.
Good luck with your Flyakking in 2014

Only a matter of time before they move into the shallows at Rudyard then. Terry

I loved "backyard in nowhere" I thought the voice over was dodgy but the film footage of the fish was fantastic!
