I had a nice day on Milton Loch on the southeast of Scotland yesterday. Nice place to fish with loch side parking it's very easy to launch your kayak. The fishing was very slow, I only had one jack and a good perch but still a nice day.

Welcome Ian.
You have some great waters up there.
I have visited the Trossachs area a number of times with the kayak I love the area. My wife and I were even lucky enough to be able to see the wallabies on Inchconnachan on one paddle on Loch Lomond.

I absolutely love Scotland for the fishing, it's still a 2 1/2hr drive for me but its so nice it's worth it. I've never been on Lomond for years but hoping to get up there this year. Most of the lochs on the southeast are easy to access and no problem for the kayak. I usually have a problem getting my boat on some and a lot of the smaller ones don't allow a engine so the kayak is great for that. Looking forward to the next outing already!
